The world economy is under recession and all the sectors are under pressure.Merger, acquisition and bankcrupcy are happening.Infrastructure,Power and telecom are the few sectors which have less affected by these market conditions.Because of these market conditions, the job options are limited in the market.Companies are postponding the date of joining of freshers for 6 months or a year.I think, wating for the joining dates of the companies is the wastage of the time.It will be better to prepare for higher studies.I think Power Sector is a great option in upcoming time in India. Here, i am mentioning the few options of doing MBA in Power Management. First is the National Power Tranning Institutes.NPTI has been set up by Indian government.2 year MBA,4 year btech and so many other diplomas and tranning programs in power are offered by these institutes.Btech graduate from any branche can apply for MBA in Power Management.Official site of NPTI is npti.nic.in.You can find the list of NPTIs here.....
Second is University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.UPES is India's First Energy University and Asia's First & Only Energy & Core Sector University. UPES offers over 33 graduate, post graduate and doctoral programs to more than 2400 students across its 3 campuses, in the high growth sectors of Oil & Gas, Power, Aviation, Shipping, Automobile, Infrastructure and Logistics & Supply Chain. It's official site is www.upesindia.org.
Third option is Power Management Institute. It was set up by NTPC.It offers both MBA and MTech courses. It's official site is www.pmintpc.com. If you people know more option, please mention it in the comment section.
