Commonwealth Games is a multi sports events,which is played after every four years.This Year,New Delhi,India is organising 19th Commonwealth Games.The event will start with opening ceremony at Jawahar lal Nehru Stadium on 3rd October 2010  and will end with closing ceremony at Jawahar lal Nehru Stadium on 14th October 2010 in New Delhi,India.Aquatics,Archery,Athletics (track and field),Badminton,Boxing,Cycling,Gymnastics,Hockey,Lawn Bowl,Netball,Rugby sevens,Shooting,Squash,Table Tennis,Tennis ,Weightlifting and Wrestling are 17 games in CWG 2010 at New Delhi,India.Shera is the mascot of the 19th Commonwealth Games 2010.

Last time,18th CWG was held in Melbourne 2006.The first CWG games was held in 1930 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada with the name "British Empire Games".For the first time event was held with the name "Commonwealth Games" in 1978 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada from 3 August 1978 to 12 august 1978.20th Commonwealth Games will be held in Glasgow, Scotland in 2014.Here, i am sharing the schedule of Commonwealth Games 2010.

He is the first gold medalist of India in Beijing 2008.Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and President Pratibha Patil have congratulated him.This is the historic moments for india because non of the Indian had won an individual Olympic title before.India had won only eight hockey gold medals before.
