Today,Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched 3G service in Kozhikode,kerala.Now,3G service is avilable in 21 cities of kerala circle including all districts of Kerala. 3G is the next generation high speed mobile communication service,which also allows us many multimedia facilities such as internet access upto 3.6 Mbps,live video calling,live TV on mobile,video footage,video downloading,video gaming etc. BSNL is planning to provides 2.65 lakh of 3G lines in Kerala Circle, including 37,758 lines in Kozhikode city and suburbs and 1,469 lines for Kalpetta.Company has invested Rs.650 crore for first phase launch.Presently,charges for local calls and video calls are 30 paisa per minute while charges for STD calls are 50 paisa per minute. On the site of BSNL kerala circle various plans are available.If you are living in kerala and a existing postpaid customer of BSNL than you can migrate to 3G service.Information regarding making Video call,mobile TV and Fast Internet service are also available at BSNL kerala circle site.

Hotmail users can now get alerts on their Mobile whenever they receive Email in their Inbox. With this service Hotmail users will be able to receive, read and reply to Emails via SMS only. You can receive the hotmail alerts as text massages (SMS). The best feature of this service is there is no need of GPRS connection.
