Here i am explaning very old but very easy method of making internet connection using your BSNL Phone line.First you have to connect the BSNL Phone Line to your computer modem.Then follow the following simple steps to make your BSNL Dial Up internet connection(This method is for Windows XP):
(1) First you have to open Network connection wizard. (2) Then in Network connection wizard Click on "Next" Button.
(3) Then in Network Connection Type select Connect to Internet and click next. (4) Then in Internet Connection select Connect using dial-up modem and click next. (5) After that in ISP name write BSNL and click next. (6) Then enter "172222" in place of phone number and click next. (7) In internet account information.write user name as stdcode(without zero)+phone number (i.e eg 166223547) and just leave the passwoed field empty or write any password and click on next. (8) Select the desktop shortcut option and click on finish option.Your dial up connection is ready to use. (9) Just click on the desktop icon and click on Dial and your internet is ready to use.
